The recent press reports were suggesting that Jose Mourinho might be willing to sell Oscar after this season in an attempt to build a team that would be able to win the Champions League next year.
The Brazilian midfielder is an important part of Chelsea team this season having started 24 Premier League for the club so far. It’s a nice statistic but if you add the fact that he was substituted in 18 games out of those 24 it’s no longer that nice.
According to press reports Mourinho would be willing to sell Oscar if an offer in region of £25m that Chelsea initially paid for the player in 2012 would arrive.
“I’m very happy here,” Oscar said. “I get along with everyone, and the team shows its praise towards me. The club is one of the best in the world and I don’t see why I would think of leaving.
“There are different tactics and different opponents we face, and we respect the manager’s choices. On occasions I’ve ended up not playing the whole match, but I’m doing my best to play for the team and get results.”
