Paul Pogba’s next club has long been a topic of discussion during his second spell at Manchester United. The World Cup-winning midfielder has been criticised for his inconsistency and has been riddled with injuries for the last 12 months. A move away from Old Trafford has been on the cards for some time, but it seems as though this transfer window will be when he finally makes the move.
Former club Juventus are said to be interested while Real Madrid are also heavily linked with the superstar. Will United let him go, and where will he end up? Here we’ll look at the most likely scenarios.
Paul Pogba to Real Madrid Latest Odds
Zinedine Zidane has long been an admirer of Paul Pogba and has tried to lure him to the on
Bernabéu in previous windows. Pogba has been on the Real Madrid radar for several years but Los Blancos have gone for other players ahead of him. This has mainly been down to United being unwilling to part with their record signing. However, the Red Devils have been without the midfielder for most of the 2019/20 season and have brought in Portuguese supremo Bruno Fernandes. His attitude has been questioned by parts of the fan base and he seems unsettled. Now could be the time for the move to finally go through.
Madrid will be hoping to pay a reduced price for the World Cup winner with a reported bid of £70m being offered. United may decide to cut their losses with Pogba (for the second time) and get his huge wage bill off the books. Gareth Bale looks set for an exit out of Madrid and Luka Modric has also expressed interest in leaving. This would mean Pogba would be the man pulling the strings in midfield.
Pogba has said he would love to play for Real and work under his hero Zidane. Betfair has the transfer at 7/4 (2.75) meaning this is his most likely destination outside of Manchester. If Manchester United are willing to let him go, then we suspect Pogba will be a Real Madrid player next season.
Will Juventus come Back in for Pogba?
Former club Juventus are also believed to be interested in re-signing Pobga from United. They sold him back in 2016 for a record £90m and would likely be able to get him back for less. The Old Lady have recruited the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo in recent years and have stated their ambition to win the Champions League.
The Italian side would welcome Pogba who spent four successful years at the club. Their ambition may also tempt the midfielder back. At United, Pogba isn’t guaranteed Champions League football having to settle for the Europa League in two of the past three seasons.
Again, this comes down to what United want to do. The highest bid will be accepted if they are willing to part with him. Pogba enjoyed his time in Turin, so this move isn’t a complete write off. At 4/1 (5.0) with Betfair, it could be a decent bet.

Pogba to PSG Odds
The French giants are another ambitious side who have been throwing money at big-name signings. Brining Pogba to France would offer a big boost to the club whose reputation has been damaged a little recently. Neymar has been pushing for an exit almost as soon as he arrived and if he goes, Pogba would be the ideal man to bring in. Not as a like for like player, but a superstar.
It’s unclear whether Pogab is keen to make the move home, and it may depend on what players PSG can keep hold of. Kylian Mbappe is arguably the world’s hottest property at the moment and with rumours that is set to sign on the line to stay in the French capital, Pogba may be encouraged to join him.
PSG can certainly afford Pogba and his wages so this potential move is an interesting one. At 5/1 (6.0) with Betfair, it is a bit of an outside chance but certainly not out of the question.
Barcelona Linked with Paul Pogba
This would be a shocker. It rivals Real Madrid who have long been linked with the Frenchman, but it is Barcelona who are perhaps more in need of him. In saying that, there are plenty of big egos already in the Catalan giants dressing room meaning there might be no space for Pogba.
Since losing Xavi and Iniesta, Barcelona have been struggling a bit in the middle of the park. Pogba, when on form, dictates play, and this is what the Spanish giants need. They have been pushed out to 12/1 (13.0) from 7/1 (8.0) with the bookies, however. This suggests that a move is unlikely.
