*Please note this match has been postponed along with the rest of the Premier League due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The League is set to resume on the 3rd April 2020, but the situation will be assessed closer to the time.*
Relegation-threatened Watford host third-placed Leicester in the early kick-off on Saturday. Whether this match is played behind closed doors is yet to be announced, but in all likelihood, it will be. That might take some of the theatre out of the game, but either way, we should expect an interesting encounter.

Watford vs Leicester – The Form Guide
Watford have claimed some top name scalps at home in the league this season with Wolves, Manchester United and Liverpool all leaving empty-handed. Despite this, they are in serious relegation trouble. The Hornets are in 17th spot, joint on points with both West Ham and Bournemouth and have won only one of their last seven matches. A disappointing 1-0 loss away to Crystal Palace last time out was a stark reminder of the work they still have to do.
Leicester ended a four-game winless streak with a 4-0 hammering of Aston Villa on Monday night. Jamie Vardy came off the bench to bag a brace and keep the chasing pack at bay. The Foxes are third in the league, five points above fourth-placed Chelsea. With the Champions League qualification race heating up below them, Brendan Rodgers's side need to watch the gap. A win here would be another step in the right direction.
What is the Team News?
Nigel Pearson would have taken heart from his side's impressive win over Liverpool, but they looked a different team against Palace. He will likely go with the same starting XI but will expect much higher standards.
Gerard Deulofeu has been ruled out for the rest of the season suffering an ACL injury to his knee. The creative forward has starred for the Hornets this season and will be sorely missed.
Teammate Daryl Janmaat also misses out after undergoing a knee operation.
The Foxes welcomed back Jamie Vardy, in some style, we may add, and Wilfred Ndidi on Monday night. Both have a huge impact on matches and will give Leicester a boost.
Ben Chilwell is a doubt. The defender pulled his hamstring and will undergo a late fitness test.
On the other hand, Daniel Amartey will not be available as he underwent surgery on an injured ankle.
Watford Predicted Line-up: Foster, Masina, Cathcart, Kiko, Kabasele, Doucoure, Hughes, Capoue, Pereyra, Deeney, Sarr.
Leicester Predicted Line-up: Schmeichel, Justin, Soyuncu, Evans, Pereira, Maddison, Albrighton, Barnes, Ndidi, Tielemans, Vardy
Watford vs Leicester Latest Odds
Watford have won the last three encounters at home against Leicester so their odds of 47/20 (3.35) with 22bet look appealing. The Hornets were unlucky against Palace but created plenty of chances.
Leicester have won only two of their last eight league games and have collected only one point on the road in three. Although they won 4-0 on Monday, that was largely down to mistakes by Villa. The Foxes haven’t been at their best lately, but the return of Vardy gives them an extra dimension. In saying that, we don’t see much value in backing them at 6/5 (2.2).
22bet have the draw priced at 5/1 (3.5) which on balance, might provide the most value.
Watford vs Leicester Score Prediction
Pearson’s side have scored five goals in their last two home games in the league and are creating a lot of chances. They held more of the possession than Palace and had 10 shots but couldn’t find the net. It is the 13th time in 29 games that they have failed to score, which is the highest in the league.
Leicester are in a sticky patch but have taken the pressure off themselves with that 4-0 win. It wasn’t pretty, but it could boost Leicester back into their form in the early part of the season. Jamie Vardy is now the league's outright top scorer with 19 to his name, and you would fancy him to find the net again here.
Watford need to go for the win and usually do well against the Foxes but aren’t’ being clinical enough. Leicester are a team that can punish that.
Because of that, we think that there will be a share of the spoils here.
Watford vs Leicester Tip
Although Leicester have a far superior league position, Watford have been more impressive lately. The Hornets are desperate for the points and in front of their own fans will fight for them.
The Foxes have quality all over the park with Harvey Barnes enjoying an excellent campaign. Jamie Vardy is back to goalscoring ways too, so we can’t see Watford keeping a clean sheet.
With this in mind, we think the two will balance each other out and score draw is where we see the value.
