*Please note this match has been postponed along with the rest of the Premier League due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The League is set to resume on the 3rd April 2020, but the situation will be assessed closer to the time.*
Tottenham crashed out of the Champions League on Tuesday with a whimper but have to pick themselves up to face Manchester United on Sunday. Spurs are four points behind United in the race for a Champions League spot, so a loss here would all but end their chances.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watched his side beat current league Champions 2-0 last weekend. They are now unbeaten in five league starts and within touching distance of Chelsea in fourth.
United have to travel to Austria to take on LASK on Thursday in the Europa League; a match that will take place with no fans. Coronavirus is affecting many of Europe’s big football leagues, but as far as we know at the moment, Premier League fixtures as a whole will be unaffected for now.

Tottenham vs Manchester United – The Form Guide
Spurs put in a weak performance against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night and were easily beaten 4-0 on aggregate in the tie. Jose Mourinho’s side is ravaged with injury but their lack of attacking players, and poor defending is cause for concern.
The London side sit eighth in the league, seven points behind Chelsea in fourth. At this stage in the league last season, Spurs had won nine more games (20 vs 11) and had lost two less. It’s not looking great for Spurs at the moment.
Manchester United have some momentum behind them having won three of their last four league matches. They looked solid against Manchester City with Aaron Wan-Bissaka particularly impressive up against Raheem Sterling.
The Red Devils are now in a power struggle with Chelsea who sit three points above them in the league. If Solskjaer’s side can get a result in the capital, they have a few favourable games coming up. You’d be brave to back against them finishing in fourth.
What is the Team News?
Spurs are suffering without Harry Kane, and to make matters worse Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn are also missing with injury.
Dele Alli and Lucas Moura haven’t stepped up in Spurs time of need, but both will very likely start again.
There have been calls from large sections of the fan base for Mourinho to give Troy Parrot some more game time. The 18-year old is a hyped player, but the Portuguese manager seems reluctant to give him a start. He will likely start on the bench.
United’s injury crisis is lightening, and Solskjaer’s now has a headache of a different nature. Nemanja Matic and Fred are in good form, and Scott McTominay is pressing for a start since coming back from injury.
Bruno Fernades will be the first name on the team sheet as he and Anthony Martial are linking up well together.
Paul Pogba is close to a return too. With competition for places, United will be expected to push on.
Tottenham Predicted Line-up: Lloris, Aurier, Alderweireld, Sánchez, Davies; Winks, Dier, Lo Celso; Lamela, Moura, Alli.
Manchester United Predicted Line-up: De Gea, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Wan-Bissaka, Williams, Fred, Matic, James, Bruno Fernandes, Martial
Tottenham vs Manchester United Latest Odds
Manchester United come into this on better form than their rivals and have also beaten Spurs in the last two meetings. Because of that, and their superior league position, the visitors will start as the favourites. 22bet have United at 5/4 (2.25) which we see as a real value bet, given the strength and confidence in their squad.
Spurs are priced at 12/5 (3.4) to win with 22bet but even though they have home advantage, we wouldn’t back them.
A draw is a fairly uncommon result when these two sides meet, with the last one 0-0 draw, back in 2014. You’ll get 47/20 (3.35) for one on Sunday.
Tottenham vs Manchester United Score Prediction
It’s hard to see where Tottenham will get goals from. In saying that, they haven’t drawn a blank since 18th January in the league but mostly from sloppy goals. Furthermore, they have actually scored more than United over the course of the season.
United boast a better goal difference though with Spurs having let in 10 more goals than them. In fact, Spurs have the worst clean sheet record in the league (4), half of what United have achieved (8).
The Red Devils may be without Marcus Rashford, but Anthony Martial has delivered his best league return for goals and January signing Odion Ighalo also an alternative.
With this in mind, we think that United will score and Spurs will struggle to do so.
A correct score to nil is the way to go with the betting. We’re going for a simple 2-0 win for United at 9/1 (10.0) with 22bet.
Tottenham vs Manchester United Tip
Although United have gotten the better of Spurs in the last two matches, Spurs have won two out of their last five, so they will put up a challenge.
Spurs have shown their weakness at the back as well as in attack and with United in form, it feels like a routine win is on the cards.
United have plenty of attacking options, where Spurs have very few.
Because of that, we like the look of United keeping a clean sheet and winning.
