Anytime Goalscorer Accumulator Tip: 10/1 Premier League Acca 07/03/2020

Goalscorer markets can be considered high-risk, especially when looking at the first goalscorer odds. There are 20 outfield players all with a chance of scoring the all-important first goal. But that doesn’t mean that all goalscorer bets should be looked over.

The anytime market means that your selected player just needs to score at any time (as the name suggests!). The odds tend to be much lower for obvious reasons, but when you combine a few in an accumulator bet, the value soon adds up. Picking favorites to bag a goal anytime will usually mean that the player is odds on to score but will rarely be shorter than the 20/33 (1.6) mark.

With this in mind, we’ve whacked together a nice looking four-fold for Saturday with some of the biggest names in the league. Check it out below and back the acca at NetBet.

Premier League 10/1 (11.0) BTTS Acca with NetBet

Liverpool vs Bournemouth

Date: 7th March 2020
Kick-off: 12.30 GMT
Tip: Sadio Mane to score anytime @ 1/1 (2.0)

Liverpool are enduring their first ‘slump’ of the season. They have lost three of their last four games in all competitions and have failed to score in back-to-back games. Considering the season that they are having this has come as a real shock.

Jurgen Klopp will be happy to be back at Anfield for this one, and he will likely be relieved to see it’s Bournemouth his side are facing. The Reds have put the Cherries to the sword of late, winning the last five games by an aggregate score of 17-0. And the player we’re highlighting here is Sadio Mane.

The African player of the year played well against Chelsea in the first half and really ought to have scored. He carved chances out of nothing and if those fell to him earlier in the season, you’d have backed him to score.

He will want to put those misses out of his mind and with 15 goals to his name, 1/1 (2.0) for him to score anytime seems like good value. Therefore, he’s the first name in our acca.

Arsenal vs West Ham

Date: 7th March 2020
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score anytime @ 20/33 (1.6)

The Gunners are unbeaten in the league in 2020 winning three and drawing four. They have claimed six points from their last two games and have climbed to 10th, within five points of Manchester United.

They take on the Hammers this weekend in a London derby, get our team predictions and more here.

Mikel Arteta has helped turn the fortunes from the dugout, but it is captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doing all the heavy lifting on field. The Gabonese International has reached the 20 goals mark in all competitions this season and is joint-top scorer in the league (17).

He scored in the reverse fixture of this game back in December, and we expect him to find the net again.

Southampton vs Newcastle

Date: 7th March 2020
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Danny Ings to score anytime @ 2/3 (1.66)

Southampton’s season took a dramatic turn following a 9-0 defeat at home to Leicester. The Saint’s banded together and have saved themselves from a relegation battle. They are now 13th in the league and seven points above the drop.

You have to say that it has been a team effort and there a few Saints players that we could highlight. However, there is one stand-out player amongst them and that is Danny Ings. The former England International has found the net 15 times in the league which is his best-ever return. He has been out of the goals lately, but with Newcastle struggling, this match is a great chance for him to reignite his quest for the Golden Boot.

We do also have to make a special mention to Miguel Almiron of Newcastle. He scored a brace mid-week away to West Brom in the FA Cup, with two fine finishes. As such, we considered putting him in the acca, but his Premier League tally of two put us off. If you do fancy him over Ings, you’ll boost this acca to a whopping 39/1 (40.0).

Southampton vs Newcastle preview

Wolves vs Brighton

Date: 7th March 2020
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Raul Jimenez to score anytime @ 11/10 (2.1)

Wolves have proved the doubters wrong this season by showing that last year was no fluke. The Wanderers have put in some excellent performances against the big names in the league and are genuine contenders for a Champions League finish.  They are only three points behind Chelsea in fourth and have already played the ‘big six’ away from home with the exception of the Blues.

Adama Traore has earned plenty of plaudits this season, and deservedly so but that means that Raul Jiminez has sort of gone under the radar. The Mexican attacker has missed a few games but is still the club’s top scorer with 16 in all competitions. He has 13 in the league and we wouldn’t be surprised for him to reach 20 before the season is out.

Brighton haven’t kept a clean sheet in 2020 and we don’t expect to keep one this weekend with Jiminez on the prowl.
