You’ve probably heard of the over/under goals market in football and likely placed at least one of these bets. They tend to be popular because there are only two possible outcomes, and all you as a punter have to do is pick the correct one.

The great thing about over/under markets is that there are a lot of choices. For instance; a bookmaker will offer you odds on over/under 0.5. 1.5, 2.5 and so on. In other words, you have plenty of options to select from.

We’ve picked our top over/under goals accumulator for the Premier League this weekend, making up a 4-fold that comes in at a decent 30/1 with Paddy Power.

Harry Kane

30/1 four-fold Premier League accumulator

Burnley v West Ham

Date: 9th November 2019
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Over 1.5 goals

Burley host West Ham having lost their last three Premier League games on the trot. The Clarets sit 14th in the table, and one point below Saturdays’s rivals West Ham. Last weekend Sean Dyche watched his side put the sword in a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United. This means that Burnley have now conceded nine goals in their last three games, a stat that is concerning for any of their fans.

The good news for the home crowd is that West Ham’s form isn’t much better. The Hammers have claimed only two points from a possible 15. This includes the 3-2 loss at home to Newcastle last weekend, when the scoreline could have actually been much worse for Pellegrini’s side.

Both these sides will be expecting a win in this game, but the pair are struggling to keep it tight at the back. With that in mind, we expect to see a couple of goals. We’re picking over 1.5 goals at 1/5 (1.2)

Southampton v Everton

Date: 9th November 2019
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Under 1.5 goals

On the back of a 9-0 demolition at the hands of Leicester, Southampton were expected to be convincingly beaten by Manchester City last weekend. However, this was not the case. Ralph Hassenhuttl got his defence in shape and the Saints were unlucky to leave the Etihad empty-handed following a 2-1 defeat.

It’s all going wrong for Everton who find themselves teetering just above the relegation zone. The Toffees managed to grab a late equaliser against Tottenham at the weekend, but other than that offered very little threat to their visitor's goal.

The Saints have scored 10 times this season, with only Newcastle and Watford worse off. Everton can only do one better with 11, so we’re not expecting many goals here. Southampton will likely make keeping a clean sheet the aim of the game so under 1.5 goals at 14/5 (3.8) looks like value.

Game Tip Odds
Burley v West Ham Over 1.5 goals 1/5 (1.2)
Southampton v Everton Under 1.5 goals 14/5 (3.8)
Spurs v Sheffield United Over 3.5 goals 15/8 (2.87)
Leicester v Arsenal Over 3.5 goals 7/5 (2.4)

Tottenham v Sheffield United

Date: 9th November 2019
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT
Tip: Over 3.5 goals

Spurs returned to winning ways mid-week in the Champions League with a 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade. They are languishing in the bottom half to the Premier League table though. Pochettino’s side are without a win in their last four games with two losses and two draws. In saying that, they are still the league's fifth top scorers and a change of fortunes is surely on the horizon.

On the other hand, Sheffield United are flying. Few would have predicted that the Blades would be sitting in the top half of the table at this stage of the season. They have adjusted to Premier League standards well, and in contrast to Spurs are undefeated in their last four. Chris Wilder watched on as his side grabbed a convincing 3-0 win over Burnley last week and will push Spurs all the way on Saturday.

Given the fact that Spurs are due a decent win in the Premier League, and Sheffield United are in a good form – we expect goals. Over 3.5 goals at 15/8 (2.88) is our fancy here.

Leicester v Arsenal

Date: 9th November 2019
Kick-off: 17.30 GMT
Tip: Over 3.5 goals

Brendan Roger’s Leicester side are unstoppable at the moment. The Foxes sit third in the league, six points better off than Saturday’s fifth-placed visitors, Arsenal. On top of that, they are the leagues' second top scorers with a remarkable 27 goals in the opening 11 matches. Leicester have picked up 12 points from their last five games, losing only to Liverpool to a controversial 95th-minute penalty.

In North London however, spirits are not so high. The Gunners have surrendered a lead in their last four games in all competitions are have claimed only one win in five Premier League games. Unai Emery is under pressure to get his side to perform with new boy Nicholas Pepe yet to prove his massive price tag.

These two sides rarely play out a draw and with 18 goals in their last four meetings, there should be plenty of goalmouth action. For that reason, we’re tipping over 3.5 goals at 7/5 (2.4)
