Toure prefers Anzhi than City?

Daily Mail is suggesting that Yaya Toure might turn his attention to Russian site Anzhi if things go wrong with his contract negotiations with Manchester City.

The Ivory Coast International star currently earns £220,000 per week at Etihad Stadium and still has 2 years of his contract. However he wants a new deal there which the club is willing to give but only once the season is over. Toure and his agent Dimitri Seluk however prefer to get a new deal now and in case they don’t get what they want they say a transfer request is likely next step.

Toure is definitely one of the best central midfielders in the World and basically all clubs would be interested in getting him however the problem is with the £220,000 weekly wage which is acceptable only for a few financial giants including Anzhi, PSG and maybe Zenit.

Toure started his European football adventure in Belgium where he played Beveren. Then he moved to Metalurh Donetsk for 2 years. After this he spent one year at Monaco and 3 seasons in Barcelona. Considering his previous trips a move to Anzhi is not unrealistic…
